The Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) registration is mandatory for any NGO, Trust, Society, or Section 8 Company that wishes to receive foreign donations or contributions. This law, regulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), ensures transparency and accountability in the utilization of overseas funds.

Types of FCRA Registration

Prior Permission (PP):

Regular Registration:
For NGOs operational for at least 3 years with proven track record and minimum required expenditure.
